Good morning you sweet readers. I hope everything you have done and are doing now is counted as a blessing and that you are enjoying your life. I've been taught a few life lessons lately and I thought I'd share.
1) an old one I learned a long time ago but never really took to heart - we control only our own actions. That also means we control our reactions to other people actions - still we don't control their actions. Focus on YOU; how can YOU change, how can YOU react differently. I've not yet mastered this & I never will because I'm human but it makes life a lot easier.
2) stress makes my body ill; very very ill. Cold, achy, stuffy, you get the point. I am constantly looking back to Philippians 4:6 where God says to not be anxious and to make all of our problems known to him so HE can handle them! Its too big of a job for us. Moral: don't stress!
Now, about the title of this post. I am a cereal fanatic and have been since the womb. Mom ate cereal when she was pregnant with me, I ate cereal when I got teeth and I eat cereal now. But wait?! Isn't cereal bad, not nourishing, empty calories? Why, yes it is, IF you're eating the cereal my mom ate with me in the womb and the cereal I ate when I got teeth. These cereal would include:
*not-so-Lucky Charms
*Crackie crisp
*craptain crunch
*trix(ed) you into diabetes
And of course cinnamon toast crutch
Anyways - you get the point - those are filled with GMOs, chemicals, food coloring and preservatives. Seriously guys, lucky charms have one of the same ingredients as paint thinner.. Just saying.

Now to the "I eat cereal" part. I do I do I really do! But now it consists of grain free, dairy free, organic goodness. And boy let me tell you - non-toxic never tasted so GOOD!
here's the greatness:

1/4 cup Julian's coconut flakes
1/2 cup hemp milk
Cinnamon
1 tbspBobs red mill Carob
1/4 cup Raisins
2 tbsp flax seed
3 tbsp hemp seed
Coconut flakes
julian's bakery is the first to have a grain free cereal out on the shelves; this is a huge accomplishment. not only is it a great thing - they taste so delicious. i may or may not have been ruined from living in hawaii for a year.... i have an extreme.. addiction... coconut.. hey, i think it's a good addiction! this is such a clean product, yes a little spendy, but as a now-and-again treat, totally fine. think of this: you spend $5 on your super skinny mocha latte frappe so you can spend $7.95 for 10 servings of healthy fuel for your body! caught ya ;) i'll do you a favor, click here for this yummy cereal!
